Happy May!
Many thanks to all who joined last month's art share! This month's gathering will be a discussion with historian, author and Liidlii Sue First Nation member Angie Elita Newell about her novel All I See Is Violence. In this debut work, Newell tells the story of a stolen nation through three points of view across a hundred year span: female warrior Little Wolf and the infamous General Custer during the ruthless events surrounding the Battle of the Little Bighorn in the 1870s as well as Little Wolf's descendent Nancy Swiftfox in the 1970s. The interview will be followed by a Q&A.
Looking forward to it!
All best wishes,
Stephanie
